While I do appreciate a good cocktail I suspect your level of discrimination exceeds mine. We do however share the same disdain for an out of whack baseline.The main reason I don't use Kirkland booze isn't quality, it's availability and reproducibility.I happened to click on Wirecutter's review for vodka and this is their 1st sentence:
"From our first round of tasting until our last, Kirkland Signature American Vodka was unanimously our favorite of the bunch."
If I go into a bar, I like having spirit choices being the same as what I have at home.
That let's me tell the mixer ratios I want to the bartender based on personal experience with the product.
If the bartender doesn't have the product (I've never seen a bar use Kirkland booze), that throws my baseline out of whack.
