Investing - Theory, News & General • Charley Ellis says "Too much in Bonds"

What does too much bonds mean?

If I can achieve my investment goals without equity risk, why take it?
"Too much" means you are actually increasing your risks.

In your case that would be unexpected 6 figure annual medical expenses, gene therapy at 7 figures, etc.

If your bonds are not helping you succeed then viewing stocks as risky and trying to minimize them only increases your risk.

Home wealth is the least portable of wealth and carries it's own risks.
