I am also retired with all of my investments in Vanguard. By choice, I have about half of my investments in managed/PAS, and the other half of my investments are self-managed. I feel like this gives me the best of both worlds. I get to have the guidance, sounding board, and accountability for my financial goals with a Personal Advisor while also having the freedom and flexibility of self-managing some of my funds. It's all in what you want and how you frame it.
