Indeed. The marketing and terminology used on these sites can be very confusing and misleading, IMO.I was just pointing out to the OP that Juno is not a bank, in spite of the thread title. Maybe "Juno financial technology company trouble" isn't as catchy. It just shows that people see what they want to see, and it sounds as if the OPs friend wanted to see a bank.Common language among fintechs, heck even Fidelity has this language for their CMA.I'm struck by the first sentence in the "legalese" description at the bottom of the Juno home page. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice other than to complain to FINRA or the CFPB, but I suspect buried in the fine print is a weasel word or two that might let Juno off the hook.
