But it's the truth. GT has, by far, the largest industrial engineering program, and has been #1 for 30 years in a row. No other school, for any other major, even comes close to that.
There's graduates of school in Cambridge, Mass that might beg to differ.
They can beg all they want. Doesn't change the facts.
It may have something to do with the fact that the school in Cambridge, MA doesn't offer an Industrial Engineering major. :wink:

It is, however, ranked #1 in the world in virtually every engineering major it does offer, as well as #1 overall for the 13th year in a row.
Many universities, MIT included, offer programs in operations research through a math or applied math dept. This discipline has substantial overlap with industrial engineering.
