Oh, wow. No. Way off.Agreed there. I make it very clear on my goals for the future and show her what we need to do to achieve them and how much needs to go where. I am definitely the more financially savvy one and these types of things is what I genuinely enjoy doing. I have no problem creating a budget and enforcing saving/paying down debt to the tune of 'we can't go out to eat tonight because we are over our budget for the month and would have to dip into savings'. She may not like it, but it's for the better.
These are decisions y’all need to make together if you want this thing to work out
