Before looking at moving uncle I would find out what happens where he is currently if he runs out of money. Do they continue to care for him or kick him out?
I would also find out if the trusts for wife and siblings was supposed to go directly to them or if it was always only after uncle passes remaining money goes to neices and nephews? If from say a grandparent and trust was never for uncle them probably best to get the trust distributed now. If only supposed to go to neices and nephews when uncle passes then it absolutely should be spent on uncle and his care.
Was uncle (or spouse if he had one) a veteran? If so va may help pay.
