I probably won't be staying in this role for more than 2 or 3 years. I have no experience with any of these funds which brings be to my question. Which funds would be a good choice in this situation?
The plan offers good funds to use, I suggest using a combination of:
1) BlackRock Russell 3000 Index Fund, ER = 0.26%;
2) BlackRock MSCI ACWI EX-US Index Fund, ER 0.31%; and
3) BlackRock US Debt Index Fund, ER = 0.28%.

These are all very diversified total market type index funds with modest expense ratios.

Looking through the interface, there is an option to open a Schwab self-directed brokerage account (SDBA) to compliment the 401k's core investments, but it's a $100 annual fee, and I already have other accounts in Fidelity so not sure if that's a good option.
Because the funds offered in the core plan are so good, I personally would not bother with using the Schwab PCRA.
Appreciate the feedback, I went with BlackRock Russell 3000 Index and BlackRock MSCI ACWI EX-US Index Fund. I'll use my other accounts to diversify more.
Good decision :D
