I pay immediately upon receiving bill. My credit score improved from mid 700’s to 815.I use a bill payment system and I do pay on due date. I can certainly start paying even before the bill payment comes out.Paying the balance before the billing date should make a difference. Not before the balance due date, before the date they send the bill. Part of the formula to determine your score is the amount you owe on the billing date.
Thanks for this suggestion.
There are multiple reports of folks leasing the car I am buying who had to pay more in lease ( Bank of America ) when their fico scores were between 800-814. I hope I will not run into this issue. Otherwise, I don't care about Fico or credit scores at all.
How often is fico evaluated? I can pay all the credit cards off before the bills are due before applying for a lease will this help?
