Personal Consumer Issues • Anyone have problems with Apple iphone SE2's?

I don't have that particular model but from what I've seen elsewhere on the internet it's not an uncommon problem with that model. I've seen multiple reasons for it and it's not always the logic board but it seems like places like replacing them. I have an SE 3 as a backup device and it works fine. It only sees light use but I also haven't seen as many reported problems on the tech forums for that model.

Honestly, I don't know what your budget is but I personally would not want an SE 2 even as a kid machine. You can get SE3's off of swappa with all original parts and great battery life for ~$200 or less (that's where I got my backup phone). An iPhone 13 in good shape should be under $400. We got an iPhone 13 from swappa for my MIL and it's been great.

Of course, it's expected that Apple's iPhone event will be in early September and that will change things around.
