Well, that was disappointing. Apparently, Hulu is doing ad insertion for live channel feeds. How did I know?
I never listen to the network announcers. When the Eagles are on (like now...), I mute the sound and turn on the radio to listen to the local announcers (WIP 94.1 in Philly).
Last week, I was watching baseball (Phillies) and the sound was out of sync for about 30 S. The audio was ahead of the video, so delaying the video didn't help.
I'm also watching the History channel and got fed up with the amount of ads inserted. So, I paid the extra $13 / month to remove the ads. Much more pleasant to watch. My stress level went to zero.
The Eagles radio announcers are now about 1 S ahead of the FOX live TV feed. Good enough. I'm happy. Not with the score
, just that the audio and video are nearly in sync.
