Personal Consumer Issues • Strange email from USPS about delivery to old address

Yeah, I poked around on Reddit and it seems like over the past months, a lot of people have experienced this. There are many worried threads on Reddit and people seem to mostly conclude these are real parcels being delivered to the current owners at the poster's old address. Something to do with USPS auto-subscribing everyone to Expected Delivery Updates, even for old USPS accounts created a while back.

But should have happened to more Bogleheads than just the two of us if it's a system-wide issue.
