Personal Finance (Not Investing) • [Looking for bank recommendations]

I've been with the same bank for more than 40 years. It was a local bank when I started. Now it's a super-regional. I know there are better options out there for me, and I'm hoping for some recommendations that I can investigate. (DC area, if that matters, but I don't think it does.)

Here are some things that are important to me:

FDIC coverage
No fees
Ability to access cash at ATMs without paying fees
A competitive interest rate
Online banking, including bill pay
Check writing ability

Here are some things that would be nice to have:

Affiliation with a brokerage, like Vanguard or E-Trade, so that it's easy to transfer money between the two.

Thank you!
