I would reconsider that one's reactions to investing dont have to be "all or none" - i would adjust your investing by 10%-20% of funds and get comfortable, and then increase or decrease as the weeks and months unfold. Sure lump sum might beat DCA historically, but if the market tanks, there is also fear.
The same goes for reaction to market highs - if the highs make one uncomfortable with one's stock allocation,just decrease by 10-20% and you then have a new risk tolerance to digest.
