There are many reasons why the greatest chefs on this rock use gas and propane stoves/ranges for cooking. They are unbeatable for cooking and I’ll not say what I’d like to say about the other gadgets that are named in this thread.
Simply have gas and propane stoves professionally installed. It ain’t rocket science but the professional installers have the best tools to ensure no leaks.
Then, purchase two items. First, the plug-in outlet gas detectors. Not that expensive and provide piece of mind.
Second, buy the gas wand. They are cheap and anytime you want, simply turn it on and place near any gas connection….Home Depot/Lowes, etc.
