Thanks, yes same the case with me for 401k in line 5. 5b is blank and in the left word Rollover. So assuming 5b as 0 and hence 5a - 5b = same as 5a which is full rollover amount.Yes. I just checked my tax returns with 401k rollovers - 5a is the rollover amount, 5b is blank, the word rollover appears to the left of 5b on one return (but curiously not on the other). Any Roth conversions appeared on line 4, not 5, so they were separate, but we were converting from IRA, not 401k.
My 5a is pension amount and 5b is blank or Rollover word. So 5a-5b will be equal the pension amount?
I updated FSFSA with the full rollover amount and submitted.
