But there is no aftertax brokerage account in this case. There are two IRAs and two Roth IRAs and a Roth 401k. It might not be possible to avoid bonds in at least one of the Roth accounts. Roth 401k seems best since it is usually bigger, but we don't really know the specifics.It's Roth, not ROTH. The guy's name, not an acronym. And putting only stocks in that Roth is usually optimal. Any bonds can shift around from pretax IRA (best) to aftertax brokerage. Or rebalance with new money. These are guidelines, not law.
