Oh... hopefully they can find a CEO who has the ability to fix things outside of his own office.It's a race to the bottom for financial services - like many industries. Vanguard can't escape this.
Having worked many years in a very large organization, my opinion of the CEO is that many of them can be rather uninspiring and have simply risen to a level of incompetence.
To saddle Buckley with any failure of customer service and technology is rather flawed since the other cogs in the large wheel likely also were culpable. If for example the CEO had been a skilled, competent PhD in a tech field, there is no guarantee that the UI/UX would be any better than it's current state. All this points to other systemic issues, IMO...
I'm not giving them a get out of jail free card here, but do not expect a simple CEO change to ameliorate these ongoing issues.
