The deal is done. It's too late to negotiate cancellation terms and prices. You could do a dummy booking with no credit card and see if the prices and cancellation terms are misleading. That would be useful to know if you decide to do a chargeback.
I am very reluctant to use third party booking sites for airfare and hotels. I've done it when the price is right, but I am aware of how horribly wrong it might go. As far as lessons go, this one is pretty cheap. Sounds like you got a room for roughly market rate.
