Schwab sold his company to Bank of America. Bogle gave his to the investors. Slight difference. So while Schwab did some great things for investors, his legacy didn't last nearly as long or make as big of an impact.Charles Schwab (the person) also pioneered cheap fees. I'm surprised that this forum ignores him while worshipping John Bogle.
