Depends when they pay it. Some pay all the interest at the end. Some pay monthly or semi-yearly.Just curious if I buy a CD that doesn't mature until some time in 2025, is the interest earned reported in 2025 or is some in 2024 and some in 2025? Need to know for tax planning purposes.
