Low for actively managed funds at the time.I’m confused by “expenses were low”. .66 strikes me as pretty high.Primecap Odyssey Growth Fund (POGRX) (ER 0.66)
This is my only actively managed fund in my 80/20 portfolio with a small value tilt.
I have used it for my ROTH IRA contributions/conversions since 2017.
It makes up 5% of my overall portfolio at this time.
It has underperformed VTI in the past 5 years.
I don't want to sell "low" and thus am tempted to hold on to it. I started investing in this fund because I liked the PRIMECAP management team and expenses were low - it was my version of an "active tilt." At the same time, I am considering selling and uses proceeds to rebalance into a low cost index fund/ETF.
Do others have sizeable positions in the fund? Any thoughts about the recent underperformance/management?
