When I retired one of my goals was to simplify my investments so that they would be easier to manage when I was older or my wife needs to manage it someday. My concern was that trying to rebalance your asset allocation could be pretty challenging when you are 85 and in assisted living.Retirees: what motivated your AA?
Most of my investments are in retirement accounts where tax efficiency is not an issue so I put most of my investments into target date funds which picks the asset allocation.
