Spent last night in a campground on the Oregon coast just south of Florence. Walked the beautiful one mile trail to the beach. It was about 65 degrees and overcast. Saw (among others) the following shorebirds:

Snowy plover with not one but two leg bands! Somehow doesn't seem fair. There were 5 whimbrels altogether. These two seemed like pals.
For some reason I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the pictures (as opposed to links) into my post. Can anyone direct me to step by step instructions? I think I've done it in the past, which makes it surprising I couldn't do it here.
