Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Fidelity as a one stop shop

Is it less costly to use the debit card compared to the Fidelity credit card with no foreign transaction fee?
I doubt it.

I think they should both have the same exchange rate since they both use the Visa network, but the credit card should have 2% back in rewards.

You can look up the exchange rate and the markup by using Visa's calculator at: https://usa.visa.com/support/consumer/t ... lator.html and setting the bank fee to 0%.

I've assumed that there was banking regulation a decade ago that mandated that foreign transaction fees be disclosed on credit card and bank statements, though I'm not sure where that regulation is.
