Taxable - Savings Account
100% cash (everything is currently in a HYSA @ 5.02% APY) & CD @ 5.67% APY term ends in Dec) - about to put as much as possible in tax-advantaged and use savings for expenses in lieu of paycheck so we are essentially 'transferring' what we can from our savings into tax-advantaged accounts asap.

1. WE are considering a move back to Canada (dual citizens) in July 2026 to be closer to aging family.....
There are lots of ways which this could work out and at some point like after the family dies you may want to move back to the US. You likely will not know where you will spend the rest of your lives so be very careful about making any non-reversible choices.
