It helps to know how you end up with “mutual fund-only IRA” !? thru BrokerageLink of ex-employer, or thru some other mechanism of work-place 401k special gotcha (such as old employer kicked your/ex-employee 401k account out from plan and then put it into an IRA - thus end up with mutual fund-only Rollover IRA !?). It helps to know - how you arrived with this account type, for the benefit of others.
Also, have you attempted to login to that Mutual-fund only Rollover IRA via normal app/web instead of accessing thru NetBenefits side of portal - then, tried buying your TIPS funds ?
