There is no Boglehead philosophy for my situation. Wiki disclaimer page-top specifies: This article contains details specific to investors in the European Union (EU). However, it is not intended for residents of the EU who are also United States (US) citizens or US permanent residents.Your investment approach is quite different from the Bogleheads philosophy, and won't get much endorsement here. What I will say is that
REITs are stocks not bonds, even though both generate income. REITs have the volatility of stocks. Choosing between holding REITs versus treasuries isn't an apples vs oranges comparison, it's a more like cabbage vs crème brûlée. If you were to invest in REITs, this forum would advocate a passive index fund. Also, the forum would say you are over-concentrating on certain sectors.
I thread here to try to approximate portfolio assets you have access to that I never will.
Noted:
- REITs bad
- Tech overconcetration
Thank you.
