I left Vanguard last fall. I interviewed both Fidelity and Schwab local offices before I decided which to pick.
I suggest you do the same. You may have unique things are you looking for besides the name change for account owner. You could ask them to do a demo of their website for you.
I was clear with both when I interviewed them that I was not looking for advice and planned to maintain one of my vanguard mutual fund accounts and mostly buy and sell ETFs in both taxable and Roth accounts. Neither of them made a sales pitch for me to buy their in-house funds, which I felt was good.
I had a multi-million account, I do not know about you, but if your account is less than a million, then it may be telling if they are willing to spend much time with you to get your business or not.
Schwab has a very low interest rate on their settlement account, if you have much cash you would want to have a separate money market mutual fund account with them to park your cash. I am not sure about Fidelity. That is the only thing that I miss losing about Vanguard.
