Bottom line. Nobody knows if Roth conversions are a good idea.


Edit: When in doubt do a bit of each.

Perhaps there are some or many that do not know if they are a good idea.
But there are some conversions that are always a good idea - whether or not someones numbers and goals fit those situations would need to be evaluated.

I'm happy spreading out my risks.
