When installing a new unit I have always recorded the pressure readings in the handbook.
That's seems like a good idea although I'm confident that virtually nobody other than you compels their installers to do that. There's probably a practical limit to how much data you can ask them to record for you before you run the risk of them not doing any work at all and just making stuff up.

Incidentally I would hope commercial equipment would continuously monitor and retain all this data and much more so this is an issue only for inexpensive residential equipment like mine.
Daughter and son in law had a new complete air handler and compresor installed this past week in NY - in order to complete installation and activate warrantee the installation baselines are required.
Roof mounted commercial HVAC units we had (8 units) did not have any digital monitors for air filtrations changes which required cover removals.
Most all jobs we have done are correct when we leave the initial completion - all types of jobs.
