The Medicare premium deducted from SS earned in April and paid in May pays your May Medicare premium.

Thanks for that information. I will look on April 20 to see if they deducted May premium. This is for my wife. She applied months ago, so they should have had time to work out the payment details, but I won't hold my breath. Nice to know that they will refund automatically.
