Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Definitive Thread on Brokerage Retention Bonuses

We got a significant retension bonus at Schwab, in line with icarus18's figures (scaled up for a larger set of accounts) when my brother and I took over managing our parents' accounts (POAs, etc.)

I'm slightly curious if Fidelity would offer a retension bonus for the large portfolio I have there. But I don't think my account is especially profitable to Fidelity, despite the size. Very modest (typically) settlement/MM account, no other Fido funds, none of the trading stuff that's especially profitable to the brokerage (options, margin, etc.)

FWIW, I've used the 3 major platforms - Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity, to a significant extent. They all have their ups and downs, but I think if I had to choose, Fidelity's is the best. I've had a few hiccups with Fidelity over the years, but I can live with them/work through them...
