If me, I'd skip it. Mathematically you will see a very small difference in the calculated BTU/hr heat flow in the ceiling. The ceiling is only a percentage of the total area of walls, floor, and ceiling. What's the R in those areas. In practicality, it will be such a small difference to the whole house you will never find it.

Remember, heat flow is 1/R. So R19 blocks 95% of heat flow. R38 blocks 97.5% of the heat flow. So R alone becomes a diminishing return.

Any/all air sealing accomplished is a very good saver/idea.
