ThisI'm going to slightly disagree. Angst can manifest itself in different ways. Take for example Roth conversions as it relates to IRMAA. I see numerous posts everyday, including in this thread, where folks perform massive Roth conversions in order to avoid future IRMAA charges, at any cost. I'm not sure if they are blinded by emotion, guided by the Roth fanaticism on this site, or if they truly don't understand the basic concepts. Don't get me wrong, I've done $700K worth of Roth conversions myself, but spread out over 8 years, and always mindful of my resulting marginal rate. Anyway, just my 30K ft. observation.I’m sure a few people have angst as you so put it, but in general what I see is thinking like the one you just agreed to above. No angst, just due diligence. If you see multiple comments from different poster with angst, they are not even close to the majority here.
