All of those assistance programs from the manufacturers seem to disappear once you are on Medicare. I’ve been on Xarelto for 3 years now & probably will be for the balance of my life. This year my estimated total OOP cost for it is $991.86. I can also tell you that they have already increased my cost about 15%, 3 months into the year. There could be a few non generic drug manufacturers that will help with costs while on Medicare. I'm on Xarelto and get 3 months supply for $10 on my employer's plan; that goes away once I'm on Medicare. But the manufacturer has a program that let's you pay $85 (I think) a month for a 3 month supply vs the higher amount once I hit a certain threshold in an insurance plan. Supposedly in 2026 Xarelto is supposed to be a drug that goes lower cost due to current negotiations... we'll see.
