There could be a few non generic drug manufacturers that will help with costs while on Medicare. I'm on Xarelto and get 3 months supply for $10 on my employer's plan; that goes away once I'm on Medicare. But the manufacturer has a program that let's you pay $85 (I think) a month for a 3 month supply vs the higher amount once I hit a certain threshold in an insurance plan. Supposedly in 2026 Xarelto is supposed to be a drug that goes lower cost due to current negotiations... we'll see.
All of those assistance programs from the manufacturers seem to disappear once you are on Medicare. I’ve been on Xarelto for 3 years now & probably will be for the balance of my life. This year my estimated total OOP cost for it is $991.86. I can also tell you that they have already increased my cost about 15%, 3 months into the year.
