Which Embassy Suites? Looks like there are two in NW - I would probably go with either of those over the Holiday Inn which is SW and next to the train. Never stayed at either (I am a Marriott guy - so have stayed at various Marriott properties in NW DC) but the locations look good. Short Uber to mall if you don't want to walk - and walkable to various restaurants, etc.Looking to book for a February trip….,( family of 5 )
Narrowed down to
Embassy Suites: location looks decent, a lot of space, indoor pool, free breakfast
Holiday Inn National Mall: free with ihg points, very good location, suites available, I am concerned about train going by honking at 6 am and asking our toddler up as some trip advisor reviews indicate. Im wondering if this is overblown.
Other suggestions? When I put out situation (5 people ) into the ihg app it is very limited options with points.
Open to other suggestions?
My preference would be the one on N and 22nd as you could also walk over to Georgetown.
