Yes, I am as well , 5% from age 66 to 70, then below 3% .Actually I am at 6% until SS. AFTER THAT I will be at 3%.
I'm delaying SS until age 70, and making Roth conversions,
which artificially increases taxes.
I suspect that is an optimal strategy for married couples
with large tax deferred accounts , where one spouse had a significantly higher income.
