I believe Part A covers the prescription drugs in inpatient hospital and SNF settings. When I was SNF inpatient for my broken neck a few years ago they gave me blister cards with all my prescription pills to take home. That is correct, at least in the case of DW, who receives Rituxan infusions at her doctor's office, which is covered by her AARP/UHC Medicare supplemental plan G (thank goodness).
Your Medicare Supplement Plan G will cover Part B drugs. I have no personal experience but expect Part B covers things such as chemotherapy administered in an outpatient setting, such as a clinic, doctor's office, or hospital. See: https://www.medicare.gov/coverage/presc ... outpatient
Edited to add: On the other hand, we learned after the fact that in an inpatient setting, Part B does not cover prescribed drugs. If that makes sense?
