Would that really be considered appropriate advice for this person's situation? JAAA seems to me to be a bit risky for the life savings of a 78-year-old retiree. Due to the complex stuff JAAA seems to be doing, i question whether its claimed AAA rating is meaningful. And it's also a new fund without much of a track record. I'd certainly stay away from this fund until it can demonstrate a longer track record through various market conditions and crises. There have been many other purportedly-safe untested funds doing complex stuff, that have blown up once the first crisis hits.I would buy JAAA
