Personal Investments • Any Reason to Stay in TSP

My TSP account is 100% G, so there is no reason to even log in anymore. I can get the share price without logging in. I moved the rest to Vanguard in order to do Roth conversions. It's been nice seeing the G Fund balance increase and increase faster, while bonds have been going down this year.
TSP lost/deleted my beneficiary designations, so you may want to log in once a year or so to check that.

I rolled ALL of my TSP into an IRA for simplicity and flexibility. The G-Fund isnt what it used to be. It is yielding only 1/2 what a short term treasury does. I couldnt imagine any likely scenario where I would want to go back.

The TSP is difficult to deal with when retired, lack of investment options, no longer lowest cost, inheritance issue, and all the other stuff mentioned.

Good luck.
