Thank you for correcting me. I only attempted an answer bc OP hadn't received any responses yet. Thank youI watch all his videos and I can definitely confirm he's not a day trader. He says that the most of his portfolio is in a single passive global ETF fund, but..I had never heard of pensioncraft so I went and watched a video. He was discussing the recent performance of, and the moves he made to, his stock holdings in a "copper pie" (copper companies, not edible) in his "fun account".
I take from this video that he is a day trader that makes money on selling subscriptions to people that want to learn how he invests, er, day trades.
He is a former banker and he does have a "small fun" portfolio where he tries various investing strategies, they are not day trading strategies but are very much active management approach trying to beat the market. He does have a lot of sponsored video that are clearly made for sponsors, e.g. Investopedia. His channel won't be of much use to somebody who is a bogglehead but I like to watch it to educate myself and improve my understanding of the investing world. Good news is, that he isn't trying to hide any of this, he openly admits that he is unlikely to beat the market by using his strategies and he talks about the mistakes he's made.
