I never heard of this site, so I checked it out. It looks like a lead generation platform for independent financial advisors... sort of like HomeAdvisor.Has anyone here used hellonectarine.com for financial planning advice? As I understand it, the people listed on there only provide hourly advice and don't do assets-under-management arrangements. They will do hour to hour arrangements, as many hours as you need, or a full financial plan for $2,500. It sounds like it might be very helpful, but I'm wondering whether anyone here has any direct experience? I get the impression that the various advisors listed on there are basically independent contractors - probably some are better than others. It would be nice to know which ones are more boglehead friendly.
They only have 19 advisors to choose from currently. Not a huge selection. Based upon their profiles, most of them appear to be relatively newer CFP's. Not to say that this is a bad thing.. more of an observation. I imagine that they work with hello nectarine to help build their business, as it provides them with marketing.
Also, if you google their names and/or firms, you can check out the websites of many of these planners. Honestly, I am not sure what value hello nectarine adds from the consumer standpoint.
