So the link I provided is the complimentary plan. I was able to find it by google and use it mostly to see what was offered. The Schwab rep seems to imply that there were more, but only to individual account. I suspect that this is the plan they were talking about and I stumbled upon it because they hide it by obscurity.In the top menu bar, click on Products, then you will see a section called Financial Planning. Under that you will see Complimentary Plan, at least I do on my menu. It's a simple planning tool but I like it for a quick check on the numbers to compare to my own detailed spreadsheet.I've got a Schwab brokerage account and I've never seen any planning resources. Of course, I haven't gone looking for them either. Where would I even find them?
I find that when you get schwab through an advisor, Schwab do hide a few things. First, I notice that there were no performance / allocation details and income tab listing the income. I had to contact the advisor to turn the function on. Without that, a few tabs are typically missing. While my mom's advisor was cooperative, I suspect other advisor may say no.
