Are you hesitant to test the market as suggested by several posters including myself? I think this is an important tool for anyone in their accumulating years.
To be clear, it doesn’t mean you have to leave your current job or that you are disloyal. It takes a bit of effort but it’s the only way to know whether your salary is at market or if there are better opportunities out there for you either at your current level or higher. Once you know the answer, you can then decide what to do (move to another company or stay saying nothing or trying to get a market adjustment).
Another benefit of testing the market is that it keeps your résumé and job search/interviewing skills sharp.
