It's going to be a halogen bulb if it's just the bulb. Before touching the bulb put rubber gloves on while changing the bulb, the oils from you hand(s) will cause the bulb to burn out quicker. No gloves, use a plastic bag to not touch the bulb. If you have to or accidentally touch the bulb then wipe the bulb off with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.
