- Eisriesenwelt (half-day trip) from Salzburg is very spectacular. This is the largest ice cave in the world and you are guided through it. Probably the only place like this in the world.

- If you like cool cars / planes, etc., visit the Red Bull Hangar in Salzburg. Its free and they have formula 1 cars, cool planes, etc.

- If you like cars, the Porsche Museum is in Mattsee (15 mins from Salzburg). A place where they show the history of Porsche with all the Porsche classic cars.
