Just had much brake work done yesterday on my 2004 Honda Accord. Done by my highly trusted mechanic who is a genius regarding Honda issues.

PARTS

Set of Front Brake Pads - $89
Set of Rear Brake Pads - $89
2 Front Rotors - $160
2 Rear Rotors - $130

LF Caliper CQ - $117

Total Parts - $585

LABOR

Front - Replace Pads & Rotors / Replace L.F. Caliper - $122
Rear - Replace Pads & Rotors - $122

Total Labor - $244

Total BILL - $871

He told me I've had to have so much work done on my rear brakes because I drive so little (about 4,000 miles a year) and, as a result, they develop rust.

Finally. I have never done those bring the car to the dealership after so many miles. And, have only gone to the dealership if they are the only resort, like air bag recalls.
