So this means that in those cases, if the FEHB plan states the enrollee's share is normally 15%, or 20%, or 30%, or whatever, that the % is then based on the much lower Medicare rate rather than what the Plan would have paid for a regular employee or retired under 65 without Medicare? If so, that should be a (maybe much) lower cost for the enrollee even without Part B since Medicare approved amounts seem to be so much less than the usual Plan allowance?You should read up on what BCBS will pay if you don't have medicare.
