As a guy who's tried a ton of them this is an easy answer: pilot.I'm looking for something lightweight to carry a 13" laptop, sunglasses, water bottle, keys, and maybe a file folder or two. Bonus points if it can double as a cabin bag for traveling.
I've been using mine for almost 10 years and it's a fantastic mix of lightweight & ultra functional; I even pack it inside of a TB Western Flyer as a cabin bag inside of a cabin bag, so i can carry more stuff around but when I get to my seat I pull out the pilot and put the WF in the overhead.
I've also gotten a bunch of compliments on mine (color "black halcyon") as a briefcase and at least 2 people have bought them right in front of me after seeing mine
